Dr. Engel is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He earned his BA degree from Rutgers College in New Brunswick, New Jersey and his M.D. degree at Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He then completed his Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery residency at Saint Louis University Hospital in Saint Louis Missouri. Dr. Engel completed an additional fellowship in Aesthetic Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio where he received extensive training in all aspects of cosmetic surgery including facelifts, rhinoplasty, breast augmentation and body contouring, and fat injections. During his training, Dr. Engel won both national and regional awards in clinical research at Plastic Surgery conferences throughout the country.
