CERTIFICATIONS & ACCREDITATIONS

Dr. Turner is a board certified plastic surgeon who has practiced in Fort Lauderdale for 32 years.
After graduating from Emory University School of Medicine Dr. Turner completed full training in general surgery including chief residency and certification by the American Board of Surgery. Then after completing a plastic surgery residency at University of Tennessee at Chattanooga was cerfified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
Dr. Turner began volunteering surgery in 1976 traveling to Haiti, Mexico, Colombia, and Honduras to repair birth defects and perform other reconstructive procedures on predominantly underpriviledged children.
Dr. Turner's practice is predominantly aesthetic surgery with special emphasis in breast surgery. He has extensive experience with silicone breast implants and was an investigator for Mentor Corporation in the Gel Study which has resulted in FDA release of these devices to the general market place.
