Dr. Restifo was selected as one of the 'Best Doctors in America' as well as "Best Doctors in the Northeast' in the area of plastic surgery of the breast. He has lectured nationally and internationally to other plastic surgeons on the topic of aesthetic and reconstructive surgery of the breast and has written over 40 articles in peer-reviewed journals on these topics. He has performed plastic surgery of the breast in Europe and South America for the purpose of demonstrating surgical techniques to plastic surgeons on those continents. He was formerly the Director of Breast Surgery in the Section of Plastic Surgery at the Yale University School of Medicine and is now in private practice in New Haven and Fairfield counties.
