Good candidates for breast surgery are healthy women 18 years of age for saline implants and 22 years old for silicone gel implants.

No

Women who are not eligible for breast augmentation surgery are those who are pregnant, breast-feeding, have an active infection anywhere in the body, have an existing, malignant or pre-malignant breast cancer for which they have not yet received adequate treatment, or are under the age of 18.
